45m is a little ambitious, unless you have one of those flat hoses. However, I have a 25m normal, rigid rubber hose, which filled it. Pins need a slight tap in, put a small slotted screwdriver in the slot to tap them in about 2mm. Decent product. Be careful, the 6 pins can drop out of the plastic bag. I''ve mentioned this to Silverline so they can request their supplier to seal the bags.

Bought this hose reel as we were fed up of the hose trailing across the floor and kinking when we tried to use it. With its through flow design and quality components we are really happy with the hose reel. Gone are the frustrations over kinked hose and low water pressure when you are using it, easy to use, looks smart and the price was brilliant. 5 Stars.

Having assembled the hose reel [which took a couple of minutes] I fitted the hose and wound up the 50ft it only took a few minutes to clear the hose up., VERY EASY TO USE. Exceptional value

Had the hose but needed to get tidy so was looking for a reasonable priced real. Found this fantastic bit of kit and was slightly unsure of it as it was so much cheaper than everything else I had seen. Bit the bullet and went for it?''c glad I did as it was easy to put together, even though I was one handed due to having an operation to my right arm. Sturdy enough and took the hose I had. Worthy of double the cost price and highly recommend it.

I had the hose but was needing a good real and the cost was what attracted my to this simple but sturdy self assembly real. Just been able to use one arm fully with light use of the other with it being in a sling when I was assembling it I was just unsure of building the real by myself but the simplicity is good and I am sure that anyone can do that as it slots together with ease and will be sturdy to use.

Cheaper than other well known brands but does the job just as well.Straightforward to assemble although some of the small parts were rattling around loose in the box having escaped from their plastic bag.I think it would struggle to hold more than 20m of good quality heavyweight hose.As with other similar hose reels it can be awkward to keep it stable when reeling out or in,but at least the hose is kept tidy and takes up little space.
