Adjustable hole cutter with dual blade design and cowling, ideal for plasterboard. Also cuts wood, plastic, aluminium, brass and acrylic. Steel cutter arms with diameter graduations at 5mm intervals. Safety cowl reduces risk of injury from flying particles and makes clean-up easier. Ideal for making holes for electrical fittings, pipes and vents. For use with a power drill or hand brace. Max speed 500rpm. Includes 1 x hex key, 2 x TCT blades, 2 x carbon steel blades, 1 x auger drill bit and 1 x TCT masonry drill bit.

The packaging showed the spring fitted incorrectly which would render the tool useless. Luckily I figured it out and am quite happy now with the product. One problem is that the Allen screws are inclined to loosen.

This is not as great tool. Ive only tried it on plasterboard as the Downlight size was 140mm. I had to use it as a compass then pad saw the hole out. It does not work. Do not buy this for oversized Downlight''s, use a traditional compass and hand cut the size. It just rips the surface making a complete mess of the surface and you or a decorator will need to patch up maybe costing you more time and money. Like it has me. One star as it won''t let me leave a rating on this awful tool.
