I Bought this item as it seemed the ideal thing for topping off the overdrive reservoir in an MGB GT. The reservoir is a nightmare to access as you are working blind behind the centre dash panel and have to drop the filling tube through the overdrive dip stick hole. The product would be perfect for the job although it is a shame that the oil drawn up into the metal tube leaks past the plunger seal and pours out of the hole in the top of the tube where the handle is. The result inevitably is 20/50 oil which covers your hands, the casing of the gun, the drivers seat and the footwell carpets. Given that the item states it is designed for the removal and refilling of non-corrosive fluids I can only comment on my experience, it is simply not up to the job and will not be used for the task again!
