The dial indicator works just fine and came in a nice box. The housing is made from aluminum, the only downside is that the bottom part is made from plastic. But it seems to work just fine.

Bought this tool to find a pistons TDC and can use it forcrank alignment. Fantastic tool, versatile and so easy to use. Was a bit tight at first but loosens just enough after time. Totally recommend this and all SilverLine Tools

Bought this dial for leveling my 3D printers print bed. It took me a few tries to get the dial mounted (I printed a holder for it) after that it is awesome. For the purpose of leveling out my print bed this dial is perfect! Very happy with it.

On opening the package I was extremely surprised on the quality of the DTI considering the price Using the gauge is easy and confidence building the only shortcoming there is no mounting bracket included

The dial has been great for the purpose I bought it (setting up table saw and router table). Only down side is the lack of instructions for people who have never used one before. Response from customer service was a little slow

...and does it very nicely too. Great for adjusting tools: lining up the circular saw and plane. And at that price I should have bought two! Very easy to use.
