This socket set has a great range of socket sizes unlike some sets that leave a few out, 1 good long extension and one stubby and strong ratchet. Comes in a steel case with handle. Have used these sockets on air gun when stuck with no problems atall very strong and durable.

Noticed this set on the web at a fantastic price and said "Why not; if they do a couple of jobs, they''re paid for?" I normally use 1/4, 3/8, 1/2 inch Hazet sets and borrow 3/4 Hazets from a mate when needed. Surprise, surprise, this Silverline collection is excellent, even if the castings are a little rough, and is quite capable of taking plenty of grief from the old gunbarrel extension. Even a metal case thrown in to keep them together? Has to be the no-brainer of the season. Am certain that they will serve for many years if not abused! Great value, thanks!

I have used this socket set many times and it stands up to my abuse, i''m not a small chap and i give it a hard life. it''s not the best quality in the world but for the price it''s plenty good enough . if you want to pay three times the price to do the same job that''s up to you. i''m very happy with mine.
